Q. Can I learn how to do nails in one day and am I qualified?
A. A lot of nail companies conduct around 2 – 5 day training over 2 – 6 weeks, at a cost of £200 -£650. A lot of theory is covered and a lot of practice is done over the days. We have proved from training 100’s of people from Northampton to Newcastle , that you can successfully learn the application of nail extensions and overlays in one day. We at Top Talons are very skilled in this field, and specialise in nail technology training. We can advise you on which text books that you can purchase to back up your course, for any further theory you wish to read. You can read this theory at your leisure, without us charging you for thetime. Also, we know you can practice in your own time at home, AGAIN WITHOUT US CHARGING YOU FOR THIS TIME.
We are always at the end of the phone free of charge, for any problems, or questions on theory and practical. We have people who earn up to £150 per day, after practicing to build up their skill and speed, after our one day training. COURSES ARE B.A.B.T.A.C. AND GUILD APPROVED. So, why pay more for your course? |
Q. Do I have to do manicure and pedicure first, I have heard I do?
A. If you go to college you have in the past had to do other courses as part of your nail tech. course. Some private training schools require you to do this too. Linda at Top Talons has never been requested to do pedicures on nail clients, and has been a successful nail technician for 14 years. We at Top Talons feel that we want to give you as much value for money as possible, and to us, this means not charging you for other courses that you may not need or wish to do, so saving you money. If you wish to do these courses, that is fine But to be a superb nail technician covering tips and overlays, this is not a necessity. Colleges are set to change their view and curriculum very shortly, offering just nail technology courses which stand alone. No manicure and pedicure needed!!!!! Why is this? Has manicure and pedicure ever really been needed. We don’t think so! |
